Two dentists, one Tempe office, since 2002

Both trained at the NYU College of Dentistry, where they were among only six in a class of 300 to receive the CCAPA award for top clinicians. They have cared for Tempe families on Mill Avenue since 2002.

Dr. Kimberly Ahn and Dr. Reynaldo Perez

Dr. Kimberly Ahn, DDS

Dentist, with the practice since 2002

Dr. Kimberly Ahn grew up in Irvine, California. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in biology, then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the New York University College of Dentistry. There she received the CCAPA award, which recognizes the top clinicians in the class.

Before opening her office in Tempe, Dr. Ahn worked in a pediatric dental office, where she received extensive training in pediatric dentistry. She practices dentistry with a conservative approach and believes in treating patients the way she would treat her own family.

Outside the office, Dr. Ahn enjoys spending time with her two children. She also loves to cook and travel.

Dr. Reynaldo Perez, DDS

Dentist, with the practice since 2002

Dr. Reynaldo Perez grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in history, then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University. He also received the CCAPA award, which recognizes the top clinicians in the class. Out of a class of 300 dentists, only 6 received it.

Dr. Perez has extensive training in implant dentistry and has restored hundreds of implants. He is a certified Invisalign provider and has offered Invisalign for more than seven years.

Dr. Perez enjoys spending his free time with his family. Along with being an avid Sun Devils fan, he likes to golf and fish.

Dr Ahn got me in for my dental emergency before a trip I was going on. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. Dr Ahn walked me through the steps of re-bonding my front tooth before she proceeded. She is polite, professional and did a fantastic job on my front tooth. I can’t wait to go back - if one can say that about the dentist. I trust her staff and her for my dental needs.

ASU Athletics

Team dentists for ASU Athletics

Dr. Ahn and Dr. Perez are the team dentists for Arizona State University Athletics. In contact sports, chipped and cracked teeth happen, and athletes need to be seen quickly.

That experience is why our office is good with dental emergencies, and the same quick, steady care is there for every patient who comes in with a broken tooth. Emergencies are seen the same day during office hours. We are not a 24-hour office.

ASU students

Dental care a mile from campus

We accept ASU student insurance. Share your plan details when you book, and the front office checks your benefits and gives you a breakdown before your appointment. ASU students can also join the TrueDental membership plan.

Students come to us for cleanings and exams, fillings, whitening, Invisalign and retainers, night guards, and the chipped or broken teeth that come with sports.

Getting here from campus

On foot: About 25 to 30 minutes. Walk south on Mill Avenue toward Broadway Road, then continue to the office.
By bike: About 10 to 15 minutes, the fastest option. Ride south on Mill Avenue toward Broadway.
By bus: About 20 to 30 minutes. Take Route 66 south along Mill Avenue, get off near Mill and Broadway, then walk a short distance to the office.
